O'Connor Utilities Limited is a utility services provider that undertakes the civil engineering, design and installation of underground services for the provision of Clean and Waste Water Mains, Gas Mains, Telecomms Cables and Overhead and Underground Electrical Power Systems. O'Connor Utilities Limited also have an in house specialist Trenchless Technology Division providing trenchless solutions for a wide range of projects and helping our Clients benefit from full turnkey solution delivery.

O'Connor Utilities Limited is a utility contractor formed in 1994 and based in Manchester. We also have offices in North Wales, South Wales, Yorkshire and London to provide utility contract services throughout the UK.
The benefit that this brings is that our national resource provides a hands on service to our Clients. Clients can then have the confidence that projects are delivered by experienced project teams, with personal customer service from concept to successful outcome delivery to the highest standards anywhere in the country. It is this approach, together with our continual business improvement strategy that has resulted in the Company’s steady controlled growth over the past 10 years.
We currently have a work force of over 450 site operatives supported by a comprehensive back office and management structure. Our turnover has increased year on year and the group is forecast to deliver c£85m of sales in the current financial year.
Our Company offers competitive design, planning, project management and installation services providing options with commercial benefits from previous project experience gained across the Telecommunications, Water, Gas, Electricity and directional drilling work sectors. We own and operate a modern transport and plant fleet which is fully equipped to deliver and perform all of the relevant tasks on any project. We embrace new technology and working methods to ensure that we maintain a prominent place and profile in the increasingly competitive utility market place.

Tim O'Connor - Managing Director
Tim O’Connor has been the Managing Director of O’Connor Utilities Ltd since it was founded in 1994 providing a clear business strategy and leading the successful development and delivery of the Group’s growth agenda across core markets in the UK through our reputation for service delivery, flexibility and value for money.
Tom O'Connor - Construction Director
Tom O’Connor Co-founder and Construction Director of O’Connor Utilities since 1994. He is responsible for building, maintaining and developing a strong and effective operational management team focused on delivering successful outcomes for our clients as well as ourselves and for managing the implementation of business guidelines and strategies with our department heads and senior management team.
Adrian O'Sullivan - Operations Director
Adrian O’Sullivan has been with the company since 2011 following successful senior roles in blue chip businesses. As Operations Director he is focused on ensuring that the business has the best working environment and resources in place to ensure that we deliver work right first time – on time - safely and that we consistently outperform our clients’ targets and expectations and deliver strong commercial returns.
Peter Flitcroft - Framework Director
Peter Flitcroft joined O’Connor’s in 2012 and is our Framework Director responsible for successful delivery and performance across our Contracts and for ensuring that we have efficient processes, systems and controls in place to make sure that we meet the high quality and performance levels and deliver the efficient services that our clients demand, he works with our delivery teams at all levels to develop clear systems and processes that allow us to work with our clients in a collaborative manner.
Lisa Moran - Financial Director
Lisa Moran our Finance Director has been with the business for over 15 years and works closely with all departments to help them plan and manage their budgets and deliver strong financial performance. With a clear strategy and hands on approach she ensures the monitoring and maintenance of a strong cash flow and efficient and effective preparation of accounts and financial planning..
Mike McNulty - HDD Director
Mike McNulty is the Horizontal Drilling Director responsible for our Drilling Division; Mike has been with O’Connor Utilities for over 10 years. Mike has worked in the civil engineering industry for over 20 years and has specialised in directional drilling and trenchless technology for the last 16 years. He is highly respected within the trenchless construction industry and he manages a highly skilled team of specialist operators and highly qualified technical support staff.
Breda O'Connor - Company Secretary
Breda O’Connor has been with O’Connor Utilities from it’s very early days, she is the Company Secretary and Office Manager for the business with day to day responsibility for the management of our procurement and purchasing team as well as looking after our payment routines for our supply chain.
